One of the automotive industry's most commonly utilised components - transmission synchro sleeves - are manufactured by the well established FormFlo cold roll forming process, saving expensive raw materials, achieving higher productivity and producing a more accurate component.
Components can be supplied finished heat treated and ready to assemble or, semi finished rolled formed only, for customer finishing.
With the advent of more and more front-wheel drive vehicles,
the FormFlo cold roll ring forming technology is extensively in use to
produce one of the automotive transmission industry's most familiar components
- the constant velocity joint cage.
